Filed Under (My Implant/Bridge) by Tony Stai on 04-02-2009
Well, it’s finally installed! Turns out the dentist decided to do a three tooth bridge and a single tooth (basically a crown) at the end. I was a little scared because you really aren’t 100 percent sure what it will be exactly. I’m am very excited about the new bridge. It looks great and feels great. No more Maryland bridge to fall out. Most importantly, my wife likes the way it looks. She says I smile more now. The thing I’m looking forward to the most is that the old bridge won’t fall out at the most in-opportune times, like Christmas this past year. So you might be wondering what the total was…$3582 for the 3-tooth bridge and the single tooth crown. I think that is a pretty good price for getting a completely new and better smile. I never thought I would say that but I do mean it. The other great part of this choice is that the implant would have only fixed the missing tooth for about $2800 and I would have still had to deal with the cracked front tooth and the dying tooth that received the crown. I wonder why the implant guys never thought about those things. I’ll write another update soon. Post a comment
