Filed Under (Toothache) by Tony Stai on 04-25-2009

My mom has had a toothache for about a week. We don't have the money to see a dentist. And she's in a lot of pain. She tried oragel and whiskey but it's not even numbing it anymore. Is there something else that can numb it until we can find a way to get the money for the dentist. Please Help.
My mom has bad knees and she takes pain killers for them but not even the pain killers are helping with her toothache is is getting really bad.

of course you know that pain is a symptom that something wrong is happening. Make sure that there are no free dental schools or clinics around, or maybe your dentist takes credit.

if no, clove oil on a q-tip rubbed on tooth and gum really does numb, but doesn't last long. This does help a lot!

Aspirin helps with the pain and swelling, if there is any. Or other pain killers or muscle relaxers.

Steroids help with swelling, but not something to just experiment with.
